The second annual Princeton Mile runs from the Apollo Theater to Rotary Park in historic downtown Princeton. The certified, chip-timed, straight-line race begins with the Elite Division wave at 10 a.m.

Elite wave prize money includes $1,000 to the first male and female; $750 to second place; and $500 to third place. To qualify for ‘Elite,’ males must run sub-4:30 per mile and females sub-5:30.

The Open Division mile begins a 10:15. Awards will go to the top three males and females in age groups 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59 and 60 and over.

All participants receive a race bib, and Princeton Mile t-shirt and drawstring bag. Anytime Fitness of Princeton will provide complimentary assisted stretching and body scans at the end of the race. The race begins and ends within a short jog of Princeton’s Amtrak Station.

The race is sponsored by Princeton Area Chamber of Commerce and held in conjunction with Princeton Rotary’s 5th Annual Shrimpfest featuring live music, food and drinks.
