Wednesday Night Group Runs

Runners of all abilities are invited.
Group meets between 6:00-6:15 PM. Runners take off at 6:15 PM.
– Central Standard Time – Holy Family School in Oglesby.
– Daylight Savings Time – Lock 14 on the I & M Canal in LaSalle.

Group meets at Lock 14 on the I & M Canal, LaSalle
Length of runs vary. Runs are on the towpath.
Lock 14 is located off of Route 351 in LaSalle. Entrance to parking near Lock 14 is just North of ShippingsPort Bridge connecting LaSalle and Oglesby.

Holy Family School, 336 Alice Avenue, Oglesby
Lengths of runs vary. There are runners of all abilities so there are various paces ran. Runs are on the street in darkness so a reflective vest or some reflective clothing is strongly encouraged. No run the Wednesday before Thanksgiving.

Directions to Holy Family School:
From I-39. Exit #54 Oglesby.
Past Burger King 1/2 mile to 4-way stop sign (Casey’s).
At 4-way stop go straight. Stay on Walnut Street.
Turn left (North) onto Woodland Avenue. Woodland Ave. is right after Washington Public School and just before Oglesby Police Dept.
Go north 3 blocks to 4-way stop at Memorial Park.
Turn right (East) onto Jordan Ave.
Holy Family School is on the East Side of Memorial Park on Alice Ave.
