Lori’s Walleye Run 5K
Race course is an out and back with rolling hills on paved city streets. Course will be well marked with Marshals on the course at every turn.
Course starts and finishes in parking lot at Hall High School. Certified distance, chip timed, traffic
control, computerized race results with results posted on Starved Rock Runners web site,. There will

Christie Clinic Illinois Race Weekend
The Christie Clinic Illinois Race Weekend is a 3-day race festival on April 24-26, 2025, in the Big 10 communities of Champaign-Urbana & Savoy, Illinois. There are seven different distances and eight different I-Challenge events that combine multiple events on different days. Race schedule: April 24: Mile @ 7:30 p.m.; April 25K: 5K @ 7:30 p.m.; April 26: marathon, marathon relay, and half marathon @ 7:30 a.m.; April 26: 10K @ 8:00 a.m.; April 26: Youth Run @ 3:00 p.m.
5-year age group awards. Health & Fitness expo at the Activities & Recreation Center, 201 E Peabody, Champaign on April 24 & 25. All participants receive a drawstring backpack, unique race shirt, and unique finisher medal. Marathon finishers also receive a fleece blanket. All events but the Mile finish at the 50 yard-line of Memorial Stadium. Postrace refreshments in the Great West Hall of Memorial Stadium, including gluten-free refreshments. Street Fest outside Memorial Stadium after the 5K on Friday night and on Saturday morning. Over 40 charities receive donations each year from the race. $1.84 million donated to charities since 2011. Free parking at the State Farm Center all weekend.
Starved Rock Country Marathon, Half Marathon and 5k
Challenging and scenic courses starting in historic downtown Ottawa (marathon and 5k) or starved rock state park (half marathon). Always a fun time running along the river with friends old and new in one of the most breathtaking runs in the Midwest.

Streator Family YMCA Memorial Day 5k Race
Course starts and finishes in front of the Streator Family YMCA. Certified distance, chip timed, traffic control, computerized race results to be posted on Starved Rock Runners website. Plenty of parking onsite. There are two water stops on the course. Water bottles are available before and after the race. Race t-shirts given at registration (sign up before May 12 to guarantee your size!) and fruit available post-race. Racing Expectations to DJ and act as Master of Ceremonies.

All proceeds will benefit the Streator Family YMCA 501(c)3 and its many great programs and community services for people of all ages and abilities: before & after school care, pickleball, Rock Steady Boxing, youth sports, swim lessons, Membership for All financial assistance program and much more.
The Overall male & female finishers, & the Top Streator male and female finisher to be awarded.

Genesis Firecracker Run
This is our 43rd Annual running! Great course, awesome swag with tees, medals, post race party, bands, convenient free parking. Hotels nearby. Overall awards, 3-deep in divisions, 5-year increments, instant race results (on-line and paper tape).
Streator Run For Glory
Streator's Run For Glory is a friendly and fast 5K, starting at City Park in Streator, and running through quiet neighborhoods. The course is flat and fast, with 2 small hills, and the course is an out and back route. The 5K Run For Glory kicks off Streator's awesome 4th of July Celebration. Nice awards for 1st overall Male and Female finishers and for the first place Streator male and female finishers. Medals will be awarded for the top 3 finishers in each age group. Water on the course at 1 and 2 miles. T-shirts for all entrants. Walkers are welcome. Delicious fruit and beverages after the race. It's a fun family event! The Streator Run For Glory 5K is a Starved Rock Runners Club 2024 Circuit Race.

32nd Annual Underground Railroad 5k
The Princeton Park District will host its 32nd annual 5K race during Homestead Festival on Saturday, September 6th, 2025. The race is a fun, competitive, and family friendly event at the Bureau County Metro Center in Princeton. The 5K race will begin at 8:30 am, but there will be a kiddie fun run right beforehand at 8 am, free to any children in attendance. Awards will be given out for top overall male and female, top Princeton male and female, and top 3 finishers in each age category. Age categories are as follows: 9 & under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+. Day of registration and packet pickup will begin at 7am on 9/6/25 at the Metro Center. Plenty of water stops throughout the race, with bagels, oranges, and bananas offered after the race. Electronic timing will be used for the race, and the course has been certified.

Run The Path 10k
This chip timed 10k starts and finishes at the Putnam County Junior High School located at 13183 N 350th Ave, McNabb, IL 61335. It is an out and back 10k on nicely paved county roads surrounded by beautiful country scenery. Possible to see deer and eagles while running. The course is a mix of hills and flat areas. Water stations will be available on the course. Strollers and walkers welcome, but please no headphones. There will be volunteers at each mile marker and intersection for traffic control but the course will be open to traffic. Emergency crew coverage available. There is a two hour time limit on the course. Post-race food and beverages provided. Race sweatshirt guaranteed to all participants who are pre-registered by October 11th, 2024. After that and through race day, a sweatshirt is not guaranteed.
Packet Pickup and race day registration starts at 8:00am in the school cafeteria

On Course:
It is your responsibility to know the course, and run it safely.
Except for passing, participants should always remain on the far side of the roadway.
Participants passing one another on the course must adhere to “no drafting” rules which include being no closer than 10 feet behind or in front of, or 6 feet beside other competitors at any time. Before passing, participants must be sure they can safely remain 10 feet behind and then 10 feet in front of the participant being overtaken before merging back to the side of the roadway.
Finish Line:
Self-serve water and refreshments will be available at the finish line.
Results:
Results will be updated throughout the event at Starved Rock Runners, Run Sign Up and Racing Expectations.
Parking:
Parking is available on the East and West side of the Elks.
