Race details: • Age groups – 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29,30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+ (overall male and female awards, and top 3 male and female from each age group will place) • New race date! Friday, August 25th at 6:30pm. • Chip timing! • Tech shirt guaranteed for everyone that pre-registers. • Your entrance fee will include a wrist band for *FREE* beer! (must be at least 21 years old for the free wrist band) • Post-race party with DJ! • Music and runner announcing at finish line • Post race non-alcoholic refreshments: water / Gatorade, as well as fruit and snacks • Access to an open menu with Oak Ridge Golf Course clubhouse (food or beverage from the club house is not included with race fee) • We will draw our 50/50 winner the night of the race. You will be able to buy your tickets race night for your chance to win! Our 2014 winner purchased the winning ticket at the race…anyone could win! The 2017 Dash@Dusk will be held on Friday, August 25th at Oak Ridge Golf Course. Registration opens at 4:30pm, race begins at 6:30pm. Register online at: www.runsignup.com/dashatdusk. Hog Days Stampede 4 Mile is a primarily flat figure “8” course with 2 small hills. The course starts and finishes by the Kewanee YMCA. Water and splits will be provided. Digital clock at the finish. Chip timing. Dressing and shower facilities will be provided by the Kewanee YMCA until 12:00 noon. Bring your own towel. Fruit, cookies, All Sport, and Pepsi for all participants. 4 Mile Starting time is 8am.
Support local parks and recreation at the Seventh Annual Bloomingdale Parks Foundation Sunrise Shuffle 5K, presented by Sunrise Chevrolet! The Sept. 9 run is a kick-off event for Bloomingdale’s 44th Annual Septemberfest and starts and ends at the Johnston Recreation Center. The Sunrise Shuffle 5K is part of the AMITA Health 5K Breakfast Series. The Sunrise Shuffle 5K is family friendly. In addition to the 5K, the race also features a Bounce House for children to play in before, during and after the race! Weather permitting. Plus, children 9 and under are welcome to participate in the Fun Run up and down Circle Ave. before the official 5K race. FUN RUN PARTICIPANTS DO NOT NEED TO REGISTER. Race day registration will be open from 7:00-8:00AM. Packet pick up is from 7:00-8:15AM.
The course is fast and flat, utilizing residential streets with police traffic control. It is well marked with signs and painted streets. Accurate splits at 1 and 2 miles with water at the second mile. Restrooms are available for men and women. USA Track & Field Certifiction #IL12160JW
Participants will receive a shirt sleeve T-shirt and will enjoy a variety of refreshments after the race. This year’s shirt has another unique multi-colored design. T-shirts guranteed to all pre-registered participants.

The Foundation donates sleep sacks (zip up wearable blankets) to all newborns born at St. Margaret’s Hospital, IVCH, and KSB Hospital, as well as La Salle County WIC.

3.1 paved course starting and ending near the Naplate Village Hall winding through the streets of Naplate and turn around 1 mile in Ottawa. $20.00 before September 16, $25.00 after and through race day. Proceeds benefit Rick and Vittone Parks in Naplate. Pasta furnished after race by Annes Hine A Way and Casa Mia restaurants in Naplate while supply lasts.
