The TBK Quad Cities Marathon, a USATF certified course, captures the essence of our nation’s heartland with its consistent connection to the Mississippi River, amazing views, and Midwest charm.
Rated a fairly flat and fast course, it is a great Boston qualifier!
The race features one of the finest, most scenic river views in the country. It covers 5 races, 4 cities, 3 bridges, 2 states, and 1 island, all along the mighty Mississippi River.
The 26.2 mile run starts and ends at 1201 River Drive in downtown Moline, IL. The event benefits many worthy causes.
Half Marathon is a Starved Rock Runner Circuit Race.
Join us for the 38th Annual DeKalb Corn Classic on September 23rd. While the name is the same, runners will have a whole new race experience! Beginning and ending in Downtown DeKalb, the route will take runners through historical neighborhoods, along the Kishwaukee River via Prairie Park, through NIU’s campus and Huskie Stadium. Along the route the Huskie Marching Band and Steeleband will be performing. There will be a post race celebration in Van Buer Plaza in Downtown DeKalb that includes a free beer for all runners and entertainment.
The first 5K Run/Walk at Dayton Bluffs Preserve in Ottawa on Saturday, September 29 from 8 to 11 a.m. will take participants through the prairies and woodlands of this pristine preserve located on the Fox River.
The Run/Walk is limited to 150 registrants, who each will receive a race t-shirt, water, and a medal of participation. The top three overall male and female winners will receive special recognition. Food will be available for purchase after the race on site.

The race is made possible with the support of Holloway Portable Restrooms, Hank’s Farm, and the city of Ottawa.
This 253-acre preserve is owned by The Conservation Foundation and leased to the city of Ottawa. The preserve has more than a mile of Fox River frontage and includes unique geological features, multiple ravines, and several prehistoric archeological sites.
Dayton Bluffs Preserve is located at 2997 IL Route 71, Ottawa 61350, between the I-80 interchange and north of Hank’s Farm Restaurant. Email the race director (firstname.lastname@example.org) with any questions about the run/walk.
The Conservation Foundation is one of the region’s oldest and largest not-for-profit land and watershed conservation organizations, with more than 4,000 members. Founded in 1972, TCF has helped preserve more than 35,000 acres of open space, restored and cleaned miles of rivers and streams, and educated thousands of kids by engaging them in nature and the outdoors.
TCF’s mission is to improve the health of our communities by preserving and restoring natural areas and open space, protecting rivers and watersheds, and promoting stewardship of our environment.

Awards for top 3 places for both male and female in all age categories. Registration begins at 7am on race day. Course designed to go through the streets of La Salle.
Millikin University Cross Country/Track and Fleet Feet present the 3rd Annual Milli Mile Road Race held in Decatur, IL. Created for all competition and age levels, our one mile road course is USATF certified and only has one left turn, which is capable of turning out some fast times! Come join us on Oct. 6th at 8:30am to see how fast you can run a mile and help raise money for the Millikin XC/TF teams.
Registration fee is $20 which includes an aluminum Milli Mile water bottle, a raffle ticket for our many drawings, and a pancake breakfast. THE FIRST 25 REGISTERED RUNNERS WILL RECEIVE A “FLEET FEET” BONDIBAND HEADBAND!!
Packet Pick-up Information:
Friday, Oct. 5th from 4-6pm or on race day from 7-8am. All packet pick-ups will be located at the Decatur Fleet Feet which is located at 1090 W Wood St, Decatur, IL 62522.
Race day schedule:
7:15-8:15a.m. – Check in at Fleet Feet Decatur.
8:15 a.m. – Shuttle will take you to the start of race on N Church Street.
8:30 a.m. – Race Starts.

Starting on the corner of William & Church St. you run south down Church St. for about a quarter of a mile and take a right onto Woods St. From there it is a straight shot to the finish which is in front of the Fleet Feet store. Although it is small, the course is netted downhill!
5k/8k trail race around Lake Bloomington. Pancake breakfast following the race. We are offering a $2 discount to all running club members.
This race is a 3 mile course featuring the same route as the famous Turkey Trot. A free T-shirt is guaranteed to all who pre-register. Entry free is $20 if received on or before 09/28/18 and $25 if received after 09/28/18. Family special-4 or more from one family in one envelope (Advance Only) -$65.00-limited to immediate family in the same household. There will be a $10 kids fun run after the race. Registration forms can be mailed to Holy Family School with checks made payable to Holy Family School. Check in begins at 8:30 a.m. in the Holy Family School gymnasium. Runners will be electronically timed. One water stop is available at mile 2. Free drinks and snacks will be provided after the race. Awards are given to the top overall male and female finishers, the top Holy Family School students (male and female), and the top 3 in each age division. Age divisions include: 9 & under, 10-12, 13-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. All proceeds benefit Holy Family School.

The Defender Dash 5K is an untimed quarter mile family fun run prior to a full 5K timed race. The Family Fun Run begins at 8:30am and 5K begins at 9am. There is also a Pancake Breakfast being served for runners as well as being open to the public. Tickets for the pancake breakfast can be purchased with race registration or at the door. ADOPT is partnering with the Naperville Half Marathon Races as a Charity Partner. Our partnership will help to improve the quality of life of animals and place them into loving and permanent homes. Proceeds will benefit ADOPT Pet Shelter’s efforts to place animals into permanent, caring homes and advance the humane treatment of animals through education.
Participants have the option to run a 5K or half marathon.
