Streator Family YMCA Memorial Day 5k @ Streator Family YMCA

When: Monday, May 28, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. (briefing at 8:45 a.m.) Where: Streator Family YMCA, 710 Oakley Avenue, Streator, IL. Check-In Time: 7:30 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. All races start at 9:00 a.m. SHARP (rain or shine). Age Divisions: Men & Women: 13 & under, 14-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, and 70 yrs & over. Prizes: Medals to top three finishers in each classification. T-shirts to the first 200 registered runners/walkers. Entry Fee: Runners: $20 up to race day; $25 on race day. Walkers: $15 up to race day; $20 on race day. Course: One hill out and back through beautiful Streator countryside. All times are electronically timed by Starved Rock Runner Ltd. experts. Course measured by USATF certified and requirements are clearly marked. Water will be available on route near one and two mile points. Showers will be available to participants following the event. Refreshments: Available to all participants following the race.

SRRL St. Bede bRUiNs Family 3 Mile Fun Run @ St. Bede Aacademy

COURSE: is on St. Bede campus on pavement with some gravel (this is not longer a cross country course)

Electronically timed. Finish time available at the conclusion of the race and on SRRL web site.

Accurately measured course.

Splits at miles 1 & 2.

GRAND PRIZE DRAWING: $100.00 gift certificate to Often Running in Normal, Il. (To be used for the purchase of merchandise at the store. Only those registered for the race are eligible for the drawing).

REGISTRATION/PACKET PICK UP: 4:00-5:30 at Park Shelter on Campus, St. Bede Academy, 24 West US Hwy 6, Peru, Il 61354

Post Race Meal included in your registration for all participants. Non-participants may purchase a meal that day for $10.00.

REGISTRATION FEE: Preregistered $25.00, Race Day $30.00. Discounts for Preregration Only: $5.00 off for anyone participating in the Team Marathon on March 17, 2018. Family of 4, same household $50.00 entry fee, $10.00 each additional participant. Online registration at: www.runrace.net   No bandits, dogs, wheeled vehicles or headsets on course.

AWARDS: Awards to overall Male & Female, First Master Male & Female, and top three finisher in the following age groups for both Male and Female: 9 & under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55, 59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 and older.

Race with your Heart @ Eureka Lake

All proceeds go to Heartline, a county crisis resource center and Heart House, a homeless shelter and safe haven for victims of domestic abuse.

Entry Fees: $25.00 registered by 5/10/2018 $30.00 registered after 5/10/2018

Registration includes: one custom t-shirt, free continental breakfast, free messages, home- baked cookies, and door prizes.

Packet pick up available Friday evening from 6:30- 7:30 pm at the lake pavilion. Registration and packet pick up from 6:16 – 7:00 am for the run the morning of the race and again from 7:30 – 8:15 am for the walk.

$50.00 gift certificate to male and female overall winners, medallions awarded to top three male and female finishers in every age group in the race.

Course:

USATF (IL-09063-JW) certified 5K Course running over all paved roads 80% rural with gently rolling hills. Course is an out & back design with a turn around at the 1.5 mile mark. Digital timing at each mile. Water stations, Emergency Medical Services and traffic control provided.

 

Awards given to the overall male and female winners, and to the top three finishers, male and female, in each of the following age groups:

9 & Under; 10-14; 15-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70-74; 75-79; 80 & Over

Celebrate La Salle 5K Run/Walk @ La Salle City Hall

USATF #IL7037NM Certified course. Race starts and finishes at City Hall in La Salle, 745 Second St, La Salle, IL. Registration opens at 6:00 pm inside City Hall lobby, the cost is $30.00. Time and Finish line provided by Starved Rock Runners, Ltd. Awards to top 3 finishers in each age group and overalls. 2 water stops on the course. T-Shirts guaranteed to all pre-registered participants. Free Beverage ticket (Beer) to everyone registered to use at Celebrate La Salle festival on Second Street all weekend. Music, food, carnival, beer tent and lots of family fun. Gateway 5K Superhero Showdown @ Bureau County Fairgrounds

The Gateway 5K is a run/walk for awareness of intellectual and developmental disabilities. Gateway Services, Inc. provides essential services for our local citizens with disabilities, like 24-hour direct support, community-based job development, classes and training, and transportation services.

Race Fees are $20.00 before June 13th and $25.00 after. Registration opens at 7:00am and race begins promptly at 8:00am. Registration is welcomed on the day of the race. Returning will be Starved Rock Runners and D & M Road Race Scoring. T-Shirts will be available for the first 50 registered runners. Swag bags will be included with the registration cost along with a superhero rubber duck for the first annual Duck Drop that will be taking place after the race (winner need not be present to win). There will be multiple water stops on the city and rural race route and light food and beverages following the race. Superhero costumes are encouraged but not required!

Run For Glory 5K @ City Park in Streator.

Friendly and fast 5K, starting and finishing at City Park in Streator, and running through quiet neighborhoods. The course is flat and fast, with two small hills, and the course is an out and back route. Bib pick-up and race day registration being at 6:30 am on 6/30/18. The 5K Run for Glory is part of Streator’s awesome 4th of July celebration. Nice trophies for first place overall male and female finishers, and for first Streator male and female finishers. Medals for top three finishers in each age group. Male and female age groups are as follows: 13 & under, 14-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 over. Water on course at 1 and 2 miles. T-shirts for all entrants. Walkers are welcome. Delicious fruit and beverages following the race. Results will be posted at starvedrockrunners.org. Fun family event! All proceeds to the Streator 4th of July celebration.

Liberty 5k @ Downtown Morris

Start your Independence Day festivities early this year with some good fun and exercise! On July 3rd, 2018 the Morris Downtown Development Partnership (MDDP) will be bringing the 9th annual Liberty 5K Run/Walk back to downtown Morris!

The Liberty Run 5K Run/Walk will take place at 7:30 p.m. in downtown Morris. Beginning at Liberty and Jefferson streets, the course will take you through Nostalgic Downtown Morris, area parks, neighborhoods and returns downtown on Liberty Street. The course is completely paved, primarily flat, with some slight hills for a fast and enjoyable race. The Liberty 5K is a chip timed race on a certified course. The event honors, supports and recognizes our military personnel.

The cost is $25.00 for pre-registered participants and $35.00 for those who register after June 20th.

SRRL Circuit Race.

Entry Fee: $20.00 if postmarked before July 6th, $27.00 after July 6th, $15.00 if you do want a shirt. $2.00 discount to LRC and SRRL members before July 6th. NO DISCOUNT AFTER JULY 6th.

COURSE: A portion of Lake Bloomington’s Inner-Loop with a start and finish next to Green Gables. Splits at miles 1 & 2. Two water stops

AWARDS: Overall male & female, top three finishers in in of the following age groups: 8 & under, 9-14,15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-59, 60-64, 65-70, 71 & over.

This course is NOT closed to traffic. No headsets or strollers will be allowed during the race.
