5th ANNUAL Springdale Salute – Memorial Day 5K Run/1 mile walk.
Start time: 7:45 a.m. Begins lower Glen Oak Park, Peoria Il; route goes through Springdale Cemetery, passing Soldiers Hill.
Fees are: Before April 30 – $25.00
May – $30.00
Race Weekend – $35.00
$5.00 discount for Veterans.
Awards 1st & 2nd place in each age category.
Packet pick up: Friday, May 24 10:00 a.m.-600 p.m. at Running Central, 311 SW Water Street, or Race Day, May 27 6:00 a.m.-8:00 a.m.
1 Mile walk fee: $20.00.
Proceeds from the event will benefit IVFCH home repair projects for Veterans.

Where: Streator Family YMCA, 710 Oakley Avenue, Streator, IL.
Check-In Time: 7:30 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. All races start at 9:00 a.m. SHARP (rain or shine).
Age Divisions: Men & Women: 13 & under, 14-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44,
45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, and 70 yrs & over.
Prizes: Medals to top three finishers in each classification. T-shirts to the first 200 registered runners/walkers.
Entry Fee: Runners: $20 up to race day; $25 on race day.
Walkers: $15 up to race day; $20 on race day.
Course: One hill out and back through beautiful Streator countryside. All times are electronically timed by Starved Rock Runner Ltd. experts. Course measured by USATF certified and requirements are clearly marked. Water will be available on route near one and two mile points. Showers will be available to participants following the event.
Refreshments: Available to all participants following the race.
The 5K run begins at AlWood High School; 301 E 5th Avenue, Woodhull at 8:00 a.m.
Early registration fee is $20.00 if received by July 13 and includes a performance t-shirt.
After July 13 registration fee increases to $25.00 through the morning of the race; shirt sizes on race day are not guaranteed.
Race day registration and packet pick-up will begin at 6:45 a.m. and conclude at 7:45 a.m. sharp.
The 5K course is flat and fast winding thru the streets of Woodhull and the rural countryside north of town.
Awards go to the top three finishers in each Male and Female age division.
The top Male and Female Woodhull Finishers and top Male and Female Ridgewood Cross Country Alumni will also earn trophies.
Walkers are welcomed and are eligible for age group awards.
Trophies three-deep will be awarded in the following age groups: 9 & under, 10-14,15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, and new 65 and over category.
Results, fruit, drinks, and snacks will be available after the race.
Free Family Fun Run (1/4-mile loop) for the little ones w/ free t-shirt and ribbon for the kids. Fun Run set to start at approximately 9:30 a.m. after 5K Trophy Presentations are completed.
The race kicks off a day of free events for kids in the park celebrating summer fun (this year including a sanctioned StrongMan Competition)including a pork chop lunch and ice cream social, topped off by supper on Main Street and a Free Admission Street Dance featuring Staggard the Band (8:00 p.m. to Midnight) to round out the evening.
This is the third year of our new course layout and our 9th year overall and we couldn’t be happier about our fun yet challenging course. This is a Certified Course will USATF and mapped out by John Steele of SRRC. Yes we have hills but you get them out of the way prior to the 2 mile mark. We have splits at Miles 1 & 2 and 2 water stops. Registration is available now online at racesonline.com/events/9th-annual-depue-celebration-5k-run-walk. If you register prior to July 19, 2019 cost is $20 after that and including race day until 7:45am cost is $25. Packet pick up will be prior to race on day of event. Once again D&M Road Race Scoring will be our timing company and they now have chip timing. We have awards in Overall Male and Female, DePue Male and Female and Top 3 to each of 14 different age categories from 9 and under, 10 – 13, 14 – 19, 20 – 24, 25 – 29, 30 – 34, 35 – 39, 40 – 44, 45 – 49, 50 – 54, 55 – 59, 60 – 64, 70 and over. We will be offering water, bananas, oranges and adding for this year some cookies for the post race goodies. The DePue Men’s Club is proud once again to be the main sponsor and we invite all participants and fans to join us at Lakeside to view the fastest sport on the water the weekend of July 26-28 2019. The 2019 National Championship Boat Races. The DePue Men’s Club is a 501C3 charity organization and all profits made are given back to the community.
Benefits the Illinois Valley Alzheimer’s Group who provide free programs for families who are caring for loved ones, give donations to Nursing Homes with Alzheimer’s units and give donations to research.
The run is a USA Track & Field certified course (recertification pending) Record eligible.

Join us for the 40th year celebration of the DHD 5k! There will be raffles, prizes, food and much more!
Awards will be given to the top Overall Race Champions, Top Dwight Runners and Top Finishers in each age group for both males and females*. (one award per person) All 5K and Fun Run/Walk participants who finish will also receive a special gift to remember their accomplishment.

THE COURSE: The course is flat and fast utilizing residential streets with police traffic control. It is well marked with signs and painted streets. Accurate splits at 1 and 2 miles with water at the second mile. Restrooms are available for men and women. USA Track & Field Certification #IL12160JW
THE GOODIES: Participants will receive a short sleeve T-shirt and will enjoy a variety of refreshments after the race. This year’s shirt has another unique multi-color design.

The TBK Quad Cities Marathon, a USATF certified course, captures the essence of our nation’s heartland with its consistent connection to the Mississippi River, amazing views, and Midwest charm.
Rated a fairly flat and fast course, it is a great Boston qualifier!
The race features one of the finest, most scenic river views in the country. It covers 5 races, 4 cities, 3 bridges, 2 states, and 1 island, all along the mighty Mississippi River.
The 26.2 mile run starts and ends at 1201 River Drive in downtown Moline, IL. The event benefits many worthy causes. Our primary cause is prostate cancer research & screening.
Come run or walk at the 2nd Annual Dayton Bluffs Preserve Trail 5k/10k Run /Walk. This beautiful property is one to be enjoyed by all. This will be a timed Race!
The 253-acre property is owned by The Conservation Foundation and has been designated as a Land & Water Reserve with the Illinois Nature Preserves Commission. The property is leased to the City of Ottawa, maintained with help from the Friends of the Dayton Bluffs, and preserved for wildlife habitat, nature education, and passive recreational uses, and is great for running, hiking, bird-watching or picnicking!
Starting line will take place at Hank’s Farm restaurant lawn.
