Due to the conflict with the Veteran’s Day Parade the finish line and course will be closed 93 minutes (15:00 per mile) after the start of the race. Out of respect for the runners who cannot complete the race in that time fream, we will have a 9:50 start available for them. To be included in this start, you must notify the race director prior to race day for further information.
SRRL Crcuit Race. Race starts at LaSalle Peru High School in LaSalle, Illinois, ends in Utica Illinois. Runners are bused from Utica to LaSalle. This 10 (6.2 miles) race should result in many fast times, as the course features a downhill slope for the first .75 mile streatch. Runners will then enter the I-M Canal Towpath and run the next 4.2 miles on a flat, unpaved surface featuring rock formations and autum scenery. The race will finish on a paved street near the Waltham South Elementary School in Utica. Split times will be called out at each mile along the course. Two water stations will be available with ambulance crews covering the entire course (the course has been measured by SRRL using Clain-Jones Counter Method. Certification with USATF). Pre-registration by mail through November 1, 2016 is $25.00. A $2.00 discount for pre-registration is available for members of: Starved Rock Runners, LTD., Lake Run Club, Illinois Valley Striders & Springfield Road Runner Club.
Registration after November 1, 2016 including race day is $33.00 for everyone.

The 3 Mile Run is a Starved Rock Runners, Ltd. Circuit Race. The Oglesby 3 Mile Turkey Trot, begins and ends at Holy Family School, 336 Alice Ave., Oglesby, IL 61348.
Race starts at 9:00AM sharp, regardless of weather.
Registration and packet pick up available Wednesday night from 4:30-6:30 at Holy Family School. Credit and debit Cards accepted. Race Day packet pickup will be from 7:00-8:30AM.
Entry fee is $21.00, $25.00 on Race Day. Family Special (4 or more from immediate family, in the same household, mailed in one envelope, Mail-In ONLY), $60.00.
Free Miller Lite Beer after race (Must be 21 years of age with an ID). Must have wristband-pick-up at registration). Free soda after the race. Free Thanksgiving Dressing after the race. Free cap guaranteed to FIRST 1,000 entrants.
Race is chip timed. No chip, no time!

31st LORI’S WALLEYE RUN 5K – MARCH 25TH, 9:00AM @ HALL HIGH SCHOOL IN SPRING VALLEY

Registration and Packet Pick Up will be available Friday March 24th at Creative Apparel (407 W. Dakota St., Spring Valley from Noon till 6:00PM.
Race day registration will be in the lobby at Hall High School (go through the front doors, on the south side of the school, turn left), from 7:30 – 8:30AM
The Course is Certified Distance with Splits at mile 1 and 2. The race will be electronically timed and Computerized Race Results with results posted on Starved Rock Runners web site. There will be a water stops on course just past the 1 and 2 mile points. There will be traffic control on the course. Refreshments will be available after the race. Long Sleeve T-Shirt is only guaranteed to those per-registered by noon on 3/23.
Divisions: Awards & Age Awards will be given to the 1st, 2nd & 3rd place finishers in each age bracket, the Overall Male & Female Finishers, & the top Male and Female Finisher from Spring Valley. Age Divisions: (one each for Male & Female) 9 & under, 10-13, 14-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 and over.

THE COURSE: The race begins and ends in the parking lot of Hall High School. The start line will be in the south east corner of the parking lot, and the end will be very near the sidewalk leading to the front doors of the new school. The course is an out and back. Thanks to volunteers from the Spring Valley Walleye Club, we will have traffic control at every intersection on the course to help keep you safe. While our Race Marshall’s will do everything they can to keep you safe, the race is on city streets, and the streets will not be shut down to traffic, so please be aware of potential traffic.
THE AWARDS CEREMONIES: Will be held in the comfort of the beautiful cafeteria of Hall Hall School, where all of the post race food and refreshments will be.
What you need to know for the 2017 Lincoln Presidential Half Marathon

Start: 6th Street and Washington, in front of the Old State Capitol
Finish: Washington Street (between 5th and 6th) in front of the Old State Capitol,
Expo (packet pickup & registration): Friday, March 31, 2017, 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm @ the President Lincoln Hotel, 701 E. Adams (two blocks from start)

Race Weekend Registration Fees– in person registration can be done at the Expo (March 31) and race morning (April 1) for $80. There are no club or other discounts. In addition, no race shirts will be available for race weekend registrants.
Parking: There is ample Expo and Race Day Parking at the parking ramps along 7th Street between Washington and Monroe and at metered spots downtown (meters don’t run after 5:00pm) and are free on Saturday.
Road Closures: participants and spectators should be aware that Washington between 5th and 6th will be closed starting at 4pm Friday, and 6th Street (one way north-bound) will be closed to traffic between Cook and Madison at approximately 6:30 am on Saturday to allow for start line set up.

Scenic course around Lake Bloomington. Flat for first two miles. Flat to rolling to 5 miles. Flat to finish with gradual uphill to flat finish.
Divisions and Awards: Men’s and Womn’s: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49. 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 and over. Men’s Foot Pounder: 220lbs and up, Men’s Foot Pounder Light: 190-219lbs, Women’s Foot Pounder: 180lbs & up, Women’s Foot Pounder Light: 150-179lbs. Awards to Overall Male & Female, Overall Male & Female masters, Top 3 Male and female in each age division & Foot Pounder Division.
Early registration by 4/15/16 is $25.00 for 12K, 4.37 mile and 3 mile walk. $40.00 for 1/2 Marathon. Late registration online or mail-in 4/16/16: Add $3.00 Late Fee. Race Day Add $5.00

Now in its fourth year, the 2017 Starved Rock Country Marathon and Half Marathon have been described as a soon to be favorite in central Illinois. The course will again encompass the scenery of the Illinois River, the neighborhoods of Ottawa and the rolling landscapes in and around Starved Rock State Park. Runners will experience rolling country hills and natural characteristics that will inspire your run with scenic beauty. Runners will experience the highs and lows of the hills created by the Illinois River thousands of years ago. Our record eligible marathon course has 16 Aide stations and will again have GU on course at one aid station as well as Gatorade at each station.
When: Monday, May 29, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. (briefing at 8:45 a.m.)
Where: Streator Family YMCA, 710 Oakley Avenue, Streator, IL.
Check-In Time: 7:30 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. All races start at 9:00 a.m. SHARP (rain or shine).
Age Divisions: Men & Women: 13 & under, 14-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44,
45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, and 70 yrs & over.
Prizes: Medals to top three finishers in each classification. T-shirts to the first 200 registered runners/walkers. All entrants are eligible for prizes. The drawing will held
after the race.
Entry Fee: Runners: $25 up to race day; $30 on race day.
Walkers: $20 up to race day; $25 on race day.
Course: One hill out and back through beautiful Streator countryside. All times are electronically timed by Starved Rock Runner Ltd. experts. Course measured by USATF certified and requirements are clearly marked. Water will be available on route near one and two mile points. Showers will be available to participants following the event.
Refreshments: Available to all participants following the race.

SRRL Circuit Race. Race will be 3 miles on a cross country course on the St. Bede Academy Campus. Splits at miles 1 & 2. Electronically timed, finish time available at conclusion of race. T-shirt to race participants. Check in will be from 4:00-5:00P.M. No bandits, dogs, wheeled vehicles or headsets allowed on the course.
Awards to overall Male & Female, First Master Male & Female, and top three finisher in the following age groups for both Male and Female: 9 & under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55, 59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 and older.

USATF (IL-09063-JW) certified 5K Course running over all paved roads 80% rural with gently rolling hills. Course is an out & back design with a turn around at the 1.5 mile mark. Digital timing at each mile. Water stations, Emergency Medical Services and traffic control provided.
Awards given to the overall male and female winners, and to the top three finishers, male and female, in each of the following age groups:
