Earn YOUR half marathon PR on the lightning fast BQ.2 Marathon Races Course! Join us on April 23, 2017 for a 4-lap criterium-style course featuring 4 aid stations with water and Gatorade, 4 elite bottle tables for your own special drink, 4 chances for friends and family to cheer you on, finisher medals, long sleeve tech shirts (must register early), optional PR Half Back-2-Back Challenge Medal, and Race Day packet pickup. The race will be capped at 300 runners, so REGISTER EARLY!
Come celebrate Cinco de Mayo with ShaZam Racing! 6:00 PM race time. Start with a 5K on Peoria’s beautiful riverfront trail and end with a Fiesta! Sign up today!!! In 2016, almost 400 people came out to celebrate with us. This year will be bigger and better than ever! Race will be limited to the first 450 people. Participants will receive an official 2017 Cinco de Kilo t-shirt, and FIESTA!! Participants will also receive 1 drink ticket.
Come join us!! This 5k run/walk at the beautiful Lake Kakusha in Mendota, IL will be held in memory of James Dankenbring. All proceeds go towards a scholarship to Mendota High School students in James’s name. The course is a fast, all terrain trail that circles the lake. The property is well maintained, established grass trails through wooded and prairie lots. The course will be well marked and equipped with water stations at miles 1 & 2. Registration is $20 in advance, $25 on race day. Registration forms and online registration are available at www.thankdank.org. Race day registration is from 8am to 9:45, race at 10 sharp. –For the younger crowd a Fun Walk around Lake Mendota will start at 10am as well with games and snacks. Kids 10 and under can participate in the Fun Walk for free. Child sized shirts are $10 and the order must be placed by April 20th to firstname.lastname@example.org. –Sweatshirts are available for purchase by request, limited number available on race day. Email email@example.com for requests. — All participants on the 5k route must be fully registered. Race will be held rain, mud or shine. In case of severe weather cancellation we thank you for your donation. –All participants registered before April 30th may pick up their race packets on May 6th between 1 and 3pm at First United Methodist Church, 100 6th St. Mendota IL.
Now in its fourth year, the 2017 Starved Rock Country Marathon and Half Marathon have been described as a soon to be favorite in central Illinois. The course will again encompass the scenery of the Illinois River, the neighborhoods of Ottawa and the rolling landscapes in and around Starved Rock State Park. Runners will experience rolling country hills and natural characteristics that will inspire your run with scenic beauty. Runners will experience the highs and lows of the hills created by the Illinois River thousands of years ago. Our record eligible marathon course has 16 Aide stations and will again have GU on course at one aid station as well as Gatorade at each station.
LIVEFIT WITH LUPUS is a non-profit 501c3 which is holding its 4th annual race and festival on May 20, 2017 at The Black Watch Room on Pebble Creek Golf Course. This event will consist of a 1 mile fun run, 5k run/walk, 10k and a 1/2marathon, along with post-race party.
FOP Lodge 186 proudly presents the 3rd Annual CopRun 5K, on Saturday, May 20, 2017 9am, in Odell, Il. 5K run and 1 mile walk to benefit the Illinois Torch Run for Special Olympics. Starts and ends at the downtown square. Electronic timing, start/finish line, and DJ provided by Racing Expectations. Awards to overall male and female finisher, first male and female law enforcement officer. 1st, 2nd, 3rd place awards to males and females in several age divisions. Postrace refreshments. Free tech-fabric t-shirts to pre-registers ONLY (by May 5).
5K Run/Walk for Colon Cancer Awareness. Proceeds will be used to raise screening rates and awareness in the Ladd area for the no. 2 deadliest cancer
SRRL Circuit Race. Race will be 3 miles on a cross country course on the St. Bede Academy Campus. Splits at miles 1 & 2. Electronically timed, finish time available at conclusion of race. T-shirt to race participants. Check in will be from 4:00-5:00P.M. No bandits, dogs, wheeled vehicles or headsets allowed on the course.
Awards to overall Male & Female, First Master Male & Female, and top three finisher in the following age groups for both Male and Female: 9 & under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55, 59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 and older.

5K run, 10K run or 2 mile walk all proceeds go to Heartline, a county crisis resource center and Heart House, a homeless shelter and safe haven for victims of domestic abuse. Come enjoy free massages, home-baked cookies, door prize drawings and a continental breakfast post-race party Packet pick up available Friday evening from 6:30 – 7:30 pm at the Lake pavilion. Registration and Packet pick up from 6:15am to 7:00am for the run the morning of the race and again from 7:30-8:15am for the walk $50 gift certificate to male and female overall winners, medallions awarded to top three male and female finishers in every age group. This is the only race of it’s kind in the Mid-West! 5 Waves of a USATF certified road mile and a 6K Road Race! A wave to match every level of speed and fitness. The Open Wave, open to all ages and created for those first time 1 mile road warrior’s, joggers, and walkers, this is your wave to have a great time and shoot for a PR! The Competitive Wave for those looking to run sub 6 min pace for the men, and sub 7 min pace for the women. The Masters Wave, Combined Men and Women 40 years old and up, this wave is competing for a Masters Cash Prize and Bragging rights for a whole year! The Elite Women Wave – Our Sub 6 min women speedsters taking to the street competing for Cash Prizes!! The Elite Men’s Wave – Our Sub 5 min men speedsters taking to the street competing for Cash Prizes!! The top 5 in each mile wave, M/W will receive a Special Pint Glass Trophy! In the 6K, (which is flat and fast as well), age group awards go three deep with a special pint glass trophy! Top three M/W in the 6K will receive cash prizes! This is a fund raising event for two local charities, The Children’s Therapy Center of the Quad Cities, and the Chris VanSpeybroeck Memorial Scholarship. Both the 1 Mile waves and the 6K are flat and fast! Each registered runner will get access to the Post race party, as well as have the opportunity to gain access to the Craft Beer Festival for only $10.00!
