The Race with your Heart, 5K & 10K, goes along the beautiful Eureka Lake and into the nature trails. Each participant that is signed up by May 13th are guaranteed a race t-shirt. There will be several water stops along the race and after the run there is a pancake and sausage breakfast to all participants and their families/supporters. Shazam will be doing the finish line. This race is benefiting Heartline and Heart House, a shelter for women and children who are homeless or victims of domestic violence.

Friendly and fast 5K, starting at City Park in Streator, and running through quiet neighborhoods. The course is flat and fast, with two small hills, and the course is an out and back route. The 5K Run For Glory is part of Streator’s awesome 4th of July celebration. Nice trophies for first place overall male and female finishers and for first Streator male and female finishers. Male and female age groups are as follows: 9 & under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 & over. Water on course at 1 and 2 miles. T-shirts for all entrants. Walkers are welcome. Delicious fruit and beverages following the race. Results will be posted at starvedrockrunners.org. Starved Rock Runners Wild Card Race. Fun family event!
Woodhull Family Fun Fest 5K Run/Festival and Street Dance
Entries are now being accepted for the 7th Annual Woodhull Family Fun Fest 5K set for Saturday July 18.
The 3.1 Mile run begins at AlWood High School; 301 E 5th Avenue, Woodhull at 8:00 a.m.
Early registration fee is $20.00 if received by July 13 and includes a performance t-shirt.
After July 13 registration fee increases to $25.00 through the morning of the race; shirt sizes on race day registration are not guaranteed.

Race day registration and packet pick-up will begin at 6:45 a.m. and conclude at 7:45 a.m. sharp.
The 5K course is flat and fast winding thru the streets of Woodhull and the rural countryside north of town.
Awards go to the top three finishers in each Male and Female age division.
The top Male and Female Woodhull Finishers and top Male and Female Ridgewood Cross Country Alumni will also earn trophies.
Walkers are welcomed and are eligible for all age group awards.
84 Trophies will be awarded in the following age groups: 9 & under, 10-14,15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64,65-69, and new 70 and over category.
Results, fruit, drinks, and snacks will be available after the race.
Free Family Fun Run (1/4-mile loop) for the little ones w/ free t-shirt and ribbon for the kids. Fun Run set to start at approximately 9:30 a.m. after 5K Trophy Presentations are completed.
The race kicks off a day of free events for kids in the park celebrating summer fun (this year including a sanctioned StrongMan Competition and kids’ tractor pull) including a pork chop lunch and ice cream social, topped off by supper on Main Street and a Free Admission Street Dance featuring Lynn Allen (8:00 p.m. to Midnight) to round out the evening.
CANCELED: Due to the ongoing uncertainty surrounding Covid-19 and in conjunction with the cancellation of the 2020 US Title Series/APBA Pro National Boat Races, the DePue Celebration 5k scheduled for August 1 is being cancelled this year. It is with deep sadness that we have come to this decision, but we must keep in mind the safety of our participants, spectators, and volunteers. We hope to see you on the course in 2021!
This is the 10th Anniversary of our race in DePue, IL and the fourth year of our new course layout and we couldn’t be happier about our fun yet challenging course. This is a Certified Course will USATF. Yes we have hills but you get them out of the way prior to the 2 mile mark. We have splits at Miles 1 & 2 and 2 water stops. This year we are happy to once again to be a Starved Rock Runners Wild Card Circuit Race. Registration is available online beginning February 24 through July 17 at racesroster.com/events/2020/30028/10th-anniversary-depue-celebration-5k-runwalk. If you register prior to July 18, 2020 cost is $20 after that and including race day until 7:45am cost is $25. Packet pick up will be prior to race on day of event. D&M Road Race Scoring will be our timing company. Awards in Overall Male and Female, DePue Male and Female and Top 3 to each of 14 different age categories from 9 and under, 10 – 13, 14 – 19, 20 – 24, 25 – 29, 30 – 34, 35 – 39, 40 – 44, 45 – 49, 50 – 54, 55 – 59, 60 – 64, 70 and over. We will be offering water, bananas, oranges and adding some cookies for the post race goodies. We also have a social media page at facebook.com/DePue5K/. The DePue Men’s Club is proud once again to be the main sponsor. The DePue Men’s Club is a 501C3 charity organization and all profits made are given back to the community. If you haven’t tried our course give us a try we may surprise you.
This is a SRR Circuit Run, 3.1 miles start and finish at the Wenona Park. Unopened Bottled water will be available along with social distancing practices. Chip Timing by Racing Expectations and depending on the number of entries to run/walk, separate start times may be available! If any questions, please ask.

Participants of Kids Running Clinic should print and fill out the registration form, and bring it with them to either the 8/3 or 8/10 clinic session. Registration will not be honored on the day of the race.
Benefits the Illinois Valley Alzheimer’s Group who provide free programs for families who are caring for loved ones, give donations to Nursing Homes with Alzheimer’s units and give donations to research.

CANCELED – Both events are $20 if received by 9/18/20– $25 day of race. Packet pick-up available between 7-8:15 am the day of the race at the North Pavilion of Renfrew Park. Awards will be given to the top overall race champions, top Dwight runners and top finishers in each age group for both males and females. All 5k and fun run participants who finish will also receive a special gift to remember their accomplishment. The course is flat and fast, utilizing residential streets with police traffic control. It is well marked with signs and painted streets. Accurate splits at 1 and 2 miles with water. Restrooms available. Participants will receive a t-shirt and a variety of post race refreshments. Shirts only guaranteed to those pre-registered by 9/5/20.
RACE HAS BEEN CHANGED TO A VIRTUAL RACE
The TBK Quad Cities Marathon, a USATF certified course, captures the essence of our nation’s heartland with its consistent connection to the Mississippi River, amazing views, and Midwest charm.
Rated a fairly flat and fast course, it is a great Boston qualifier!
The race features one of the finest, most scenic river views in the country. It covers 5 races, 4 cities, 3 bridges, 2 states, and 1 island, all along the mighty Mississippi River.
The 26.2 mile run starts and ends at 1201 River Drive in downtown Moline, IL. The event benefits many worthy causes. Our primary cause is prostate cancer research & screening.
The Half Marathon is a Starved Rock Runner Circuit Race
This race is a Circuit Race for the Starved Rock Runners 2020 circuit.
Race sponsored by the City of Peru Recreation Department.
Race will observe the CDC Safety Guidelines: Participants will be required to wear a mask at registration, packet pick up and at the start line. Once a participant is on the course the mask can be work at their discretion, but everyone is encourage to practice social distancing (staying 6′ apart).
The start will be done in waves of 40 participants at a time, spaced 2:00 minutes apart. Start positions will be marked on the pavement, 2 rows with everyone spaced 6′ left to right and front to back. All waves will line up at once. Once the first wave has started, the second and following waves will move up in position, to be started 2 minutes apart.
The course starts and finishes in Washington Park near the corner of 9th and Park Rd. IVCH Fall Fitness Classic start). Everyone is responsible for their own hydration. There will be NO aide stations on the course.
Participants registered on or before Sept 30th will receive a unisex race shirt.
Race day packet pickup and registration will be available from 7:00-7:45AM race morning near the start finish line in Washington Park. Face masks are required at registration/packet pick up.
