SRRL Circuit Race.
Entry Fee: $20.00 if postmarked before July 6th, $27.00 after July 6th, $15.00 if you do want a shirt. $2.00 discount to LRC and SRRL members before July 6th. NO DISCOUNT AFTER JULY 6th.
COURSE: A portion of Lake Bloomington’s Inner-Loop with a start and finish next to Green Gables. Splits at miles 1 & 2. Two water stops
AWARDS: Overall male & female, top three finishers in in of the following age groups: 8 & under, 9-14,15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-59, 60-64, 65-70, 71 & over.
This course is NOT closed to traffic. No headsets or strollers will be allowed during the race.

5K Certified Course (IL09070JW) with splits at miles 1 and 2. It is Electronically timed with finish times available at the conclusion of the race. This is a flat, fast course with a few gentle hills and is looped through city streets. There will be water stops at miles 1 & 2. Medals for 1st, 2nd and 3rd in each age group and trophies for overall male and female runners. This will benefit the Bureau Valley High School Renaissance program–a program that includes ALL students at Bureau Valley High School and the Wyanet Community Club. Pre-register for the race by email at email@example.com od show up the day of the race. There is a minimum donation fee for the race of $25 which goes to the scholarship fund to help local Ottawa High and Marquette High school students with their college funds. Fee increased to $30 if paid on the day of the race.

Join the Les Turner ALS Foundation for the Strike Out ALS 5k and 1 Mile Run, Walk & Roll at Guaranteed Rate Field on July 17, 2018. The Strike Out ALS event presents participants with an opportunity to compete for those who can’t.
The 1 mile event will start at 6:45 p.m., and the 5k race will begin at 7 p.m. Participants start at the iconic home plate of Comiskey Park and finish with a lap around the warning track of the ballpark. Runners and walkers celebrate at an after-party at the ChiSox Bar & Grill where they can watch the MLB All-Star Game and enjoy food and drink specials.
The 5k fee is $40 and registration for the 1 mile distance is $25. Prices will increase on race day and registration will open at 5:30 p.m. Free parking is available at Guaranteed Rate Field.

Run is a Cross Country Course. Walk and wheel is an all paved course. Trophies to overall Male and Female ForeRunners. Medals to 1st Male and Female in each age group. Proceeds benefit programs of the Illinois Valley Center for Independent Living.
5K is partially in town and partially out in the country north of town, flat fast blacktop course. Timers at mile markers and water stops will be provided. Family Fun Run will start at same location, but will be a short, closed course around a few blocks in town.
AWARDS – Will be presented after the race in front of the high school as follows:
-The Top Overall Male & Female Finishers in 5K.
-The Top Male & Female Woodhull Finishers in 5K.
-The Top 3 Finishers in each age group listed below:
5K – 9 & under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65 & over.

Family Fun Run – Participation ribbon for children involved in this activity and a free T- shirt. Parents may purchase an extra T- shirt for $10 if you desire.
This is the second year of a redesigned course. Pre-registration is $20 and available until July 16, 2018 after until race day is $25. Race day registration is from 7:00 – 7:45 am. This course has two hills and two water stops. Split timing at miles 1 & 2. Electronic Race Scoring done by D & M Road Race Scoring from LaSalle, IL. Oranges and bananas as well as cold water provided at the end of the race. Technical t-shirt provided to all runners and walkers. Awards are given out to top male and female, top DePue male and female as well as medals to the top 3 in age groups as follows 9 & under, 10-13,14-19,20-24,25-29,30-34,35-39,40-44,45-49,50-54,55-59,60-64,65-69,70 and over. There is no packet pick up prior to race day. The race is run by the DePue Men’s Club which is a 501c3 Charity organization which gives all proceeds back to the local communities. We invite all participants to come and join us at noon at the DePue Lake shore for the National Championship Boat Races.
Course Information: Race will start and end at Hopkins Park (100 E. Main St). 5K route will be paved streets through the Village & the Granville Cemetery. Timed by Starved Rock Runners. Race will be rain or shine.
Awards given to the overall male & female runner, overall male & female Village of Granville Resident runner, and the top three finishers, male & female in each of the following age groups: 11 and under, 12-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & over

Pull out your running shoes because SRRC’s (formerly Easter Seals) annual 5K Run/Walk for the Kids will kick off during Ottawa’s Riverfest festivities (www.ottawariverfest.org), Saturday, Aug. 4th, 2018.
This year, we have a NEW ROUTE and will be doing a COLOR RUN! The course starts and ends by the Ottawa River Rescue at 234 Albin Stevens Drive, Ottawa, IL. Check in and race day registration begins at 6:30 a.m., runners start at 8:00 a.m followed by walkers. The run/walk follows a scenic course along portions of the Riverwalk, the historic I&M Canal and along streets in the beautiful east side.
Children and strollers are welcome to participate in the 5K for free with paying participants, but t-shirts will only be given to those who register for the 5K or Kids Race.
Runners will be timed and the top overall female and male runners will receive trophies. Also, runners placing 1st, 2nd or 3rd in thirteen different age categories will receive medals.
There will be a kids race immediately following the 5K for children up to 12 years old. Registered participants will receive a t-shirt and medal.
100% of the proceeds from this event stay local within LaSalle and Bureau Counties to help local children to achieve their maximum potential. With your help last year, we were able to add an occupational therapist to our staff to expand our therapy options for the area’s children.
