Workouts vary from weeks to week. Groups of different ability levels do different workouts. Meet in the parking lot of Lock 14. The advanced group does a 2 mile warm-up run to Split Rock, performs the scheduled workout for the week (generally intervals), and then does a 2 mile cool down run back to the parking lot. Work out can be up to 8 miles total. Other groups and individuals may do workouts of as little as 2 miles total with some walkers.
Trail is paved for the first mile, and packed gravel for the rest of the distance.
