FREE Women’s Walk-to Run Clinic
This is a 5 week mini-clinic that has been designed to prepare women to run in an encouraging and supporting environment.Train as you build strength and endurance with other women who also have a goal to learn how to become a runner. Meet other who would like to meet their fitness goals.
The goal for the Wal-To_Run Clinic us to build from walking 1 mile to eventually run/walk with the ultimate goal reaching 1.5 miles.
The mini-clinic is a perfect way to get a jump start for the beginning runner who plans to run by joining the Women’s Running Clinic that starts with a registration night, May 23rd at 6:45 at the Peru YMCA.The running clinic is June 5th – August 14th. This clinic preps women to reach a 3.1 (5K) running goal. Runners are working toward completing the 5K Boo Miley Race that supports Alzheimer’s Disease.
